"The number one cause of atheism is Christianity because Christians themselves don’t know what is really in the scriptures and rely on the “authority” of their officials. Virtually all atheist response to Christian statements and beliefs is answer by what Christians themselves have said."

Mainstream Christianity has long taught that Lucifer’s rebellion was caused when God announced that he was going to create man and that the angels would have to bow to him (collectively). There is no where in scripture that even suggests such a thing, yet it is commonly accepted as “Gospel”.
There WAS a rebellion of the angels, led by Lucifer, but the creation of mankind had nothing to do with it. While there is no place that tells us exactly what the issue of the rebellion was over, there are a couple of things that we CAN conclude logically.
The Kingdom of God (or the government of God, if you will) is a theocracy. It’s primary governance centers around “The Most High God” who Jesus referred to as “The Father”. As in any government there are various layers of administrators, some of whom are angels (hence the term Archangel). God rules by his word. While he may welcome input from others, he is the final word. The scriptures tell us that “For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed…” Malachi 3:6 kjv.
If God doesn’t change, and one or more of the angels were no happy, it is reasonable to conclude that THEY WANTED CHANGE. If so, and change was NOT negotiable, rebellion would reasonably be the next step, and in this case, under the leadership of the Archangel Lucifer.
Isaiah 14:12–14 explains… “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Simply put, they attempted to overthrow their own government. In a word, TREASON.
Now, the earth, and everything on it was given to Lucifer at some point BEFORE the revolt. Under normal circumstances God would have just repossessed it and tossed the angels who revolted completely off of it. But the problem here is that God APPARENTLY did not many, if not any conditions on ownership, so God, who cannot lie (or go against himself) CAN NOT take the earth back… To make it “legal” someone else, not directly connected with God would have to do it.
THIS IS THE REASON that man was created. In Genesis, the first chapter, we find that on the sixth day when he created man, he blessed them, and actually gave them orders, or more to the point, commandments. They were instructed to “BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY; and REPLENISH THE EARTH, and to SUBDUE IT, and then to take and keep DOMINION OVER THE EARTH AND EVERYTHING ON IT. These, in actuality, comprise the first four commandments that God gave to man.
And to carry out the plan it was necessary that Lucifer “claim possession of the people that he created. In that way it would be Lucifer’s own people who would rise up against him in the same way he did to the Most High God and his government. So we find the incident of the Garden of Eden. God “allowed” Lucifer to try to turn man against him. If so, they were his…
God is NOT stupid. He knew in advance what man was capable of. In addition, the game was over basic knowledge; The Knowledge of Good and Evil, indicating that Eve started the match in a state of IGNORANCE. Meanwhile, she was pitting her lack of knowledge against a being to KNEW the answers, because at one time, the scriptures tell us, He was perfect in wisdom and beauty, and sat next to God himself.
Now ask yourself a simple common sense question, “If you were God would you tell one of your top angels to bet the entire Kingdom on the woman?” Of course not. GOD INTENDED FOR MAN TO FALL. It was an essential part of his plan. FYI… If you find it hard to believe that God and Lucifer gambling together, read the book of Job in the Old Testament. The first two chapters give a detailed account of God and Lucifer doing just that…
All this was necessary because God’s plan, which is all a part of the Gospel of the Kingdom that Jesus brought, taught, and charged his disciples to carry as well. Man was actually created as a weapon to use against Lucifer, using the resurrected Jesus Christ as the powerful warhead that will force Satan (Lucifer and company) completely and permanently OFF of this earth. Then, fulfilling the first commandments, Jesus will rule over this earth with a worldwide government, THE KINGDOM OF GOD forever after.
When Jesus was born he was 100% human. Mary was his mother and Joseph was his BIOLOGICAL father. The story of the virgin birth is a MYTH also accepted as Gospel today. If he was NOT the biological son of Joseph, then HE HAD NO LEGAL RIGHT to the throne of David. Jesus BECAME God on the day of his baptism, when “the Holy Spirit came upon him in the form of a dove, and words were heard from heaven saying, “This is my son in whom I am well pleased.” It was on that day that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us…
Salvation, grace, redemption are all factors that are promised to man, but are only possible if, or when, Jesus returns as The Son of Man to fulfill the third and fourth commandments given in the beginning. And while he is fulfilling the commandments as the son of man, he is bringing with him the FULL ANGELIC FORCE to deal with the fallen angels. This is only possible because he was found worthy to INHERIT all things from the Father, including his military forces.
“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;” Rev 5:9.
This is the MAIN REASON that Jesus had to die. The plan was to reclaim the earth and rule over it forever. Yes, people will still be saved by the blood, accepting him as not only their savior, but also as their King and Sovereign.
So hopefully you can see why I said that there is a larger plan that had little to do with man as the focus. Man BENEFITS from its success, and has an exciting future ahead of him if he so chooses. But while the plan involves us, and benefits us, it’s NOT about us…
